This proverb is used in Barbados and St. Vincent. It means "people with nothing to do get themselves into mischief."

Belize -- "Wen man no gat not'n fo do, 'e go de sabana to tell cow maanin. (When a man has nothing to do, he goes to the pasture to say good morning to the cow.)
Grenada -- "Idle hands is de devil workship."
Jamaica --- "Wen man lib (live) well im go to a pastuh to tell cow how-de-do."
